Abstract
“La Esperanza de la Valentin” was a group of adolescents of the Colonia Valentín Gómez Farias, in a popular area of southern Mexico City. An accompaniement experience was carried on in two stages: group and individual. In the present paper, a general account of the group stage is made, within the framework of popular education. It can be regarded as a systematization of the accompaniement experience by the author, who was also the group facilitator.
