Abstract
An attractive title, without the slightest doubt. If there was only the second part: A history of the wicked, perhaps we would feel less involved, seeing it as a distant academic work, but, what opens the title of the book that we are now commenting on: Our dark side, makes us think, inescapably, in the cursed part of oneself, the one that has led human societies, in order to separate themselves from it, to designate certain subjects as perverse, on whom that unbearable part falls.
