Assertive anger management in teenagers through a workshop experiential

Abstract
Managing anger is a psychological and social skill. It is a process that includes self-body skills, identifying feelings, introjects management and assertiveness. For the teenager this works via way of protection against risk factors that he/she faces. The aim of this qualitative research was to analyze how teen students manage their anger in a Cuitzeo, Michoacán secondary school and account for the skills developed from their experience in an experiential workshop. The Phenomenological method was used and narrative, life history, photo biography and participant observation, as well as techniques. Participants identified how they experience their anger and its consequences, analyzed the defense mechanisms used against it and reported practicing assertive behavior, which represented a change in the quality of their interpersonal relationships. Indispensable empowerment necessary to undertake self-assertion was enabled.
