Abstract
Ante la transformación y la pérdida vertiginosa de la arquitectura vernácula en los poblados históricos de nuestra entidad, surge una preocupación en algunos sectores de la población por su conservación. Las justificaciones de las acciones de conservación son diversas desde discursos basados en el concepto de la identidad y la tradición hasta aquellos que observan a los conjuntos como bienes con un potencial económico mediante el desarrollo turístico.
